Jennifer was exceptionally responsive, promptly answering all our questions. The house was immaculately clean and well-stocked, complete with thoughtful inclusions like coffee, tea bags, and even cooking spray, just in case.I highly recommend visiting the pier at sunset for picture-taking. The view of the sunset over Lake Caddo is exceptionally beautiful.While dining options nearby are limited, the Shady Glade Cafe, just a few minutes' walk away, offers a decent breakfast until 10:30 AM and lunch. My personal favorite was the Lighthouse Cafe, which serves a variety of Southern deep-fried cuisine for dinner and boasts super-friendly staff. For those seeking fine dining, reserving a table at one of the many restaurants in Jefferson, about 20 minutes away, is recommended.

We had a wonderful stay at Cedar Wood Lodge. The bedrooms were spacious with ample storage. The whole cabin was super clean. The Wi-Fi is a little spotty but totally expected in this remote location on the beautiful Caddo Lake. The neighborhood was super quiet. There is a small cafe within walking distance.
